On Tuesday 12th July, Ryan Wells was stopped and searched in Harlequin Drive, Newport after officers speaking to him noticed he strongly smelt of cannabis. Wells had a small holdall and following a search, the officer found 44 bags of cannabis along with mobile phones and a quantity of cash.
Ryan Wells home was also searched and more Class B Drugs were found.
Wells was arrested for possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and charged. He appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on 16th January 2017 and was found guilty and sentenced to 12 months in prison.
