We no longer require a counter-signatory as this has been replaced by a single referee for a shotgun renewal/grant and two referees for a firearm renewal/grant.

The firearms licensing department currently has a Firearms Licensing Manager, five Administration Assistants and three Firearm Enquiry Officers (one of which is also Explosives Liaison Officer).
