Firearms Licensing

Man firing a shotgun

Please note: the application form has been revised by the Home Office and this form now covers both firearm/shotgun renewal and grant applications. Please ensure that you read form 201A (Notes) which will explain how to complete the new application.

We no longer require a counter-signatory as this has been replaced by a single referee for a shotgun renewal/grant and two referees for a firearm renewal/grant.

Please note, there have been changes to the medical information that is required for renewal/grant of a certificate. Please read the documentation by following this link.

Application forms can be downloaded from the Online Forms section.
