Neil Lewis- Head of People Services
Neil joined Gwent Police in July 2015 having previously been employed as HR Manager at Newport City Council. Neil has worked in Human Resources for over 15 years after graduating with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Glamorgan, and completing a MSc in Human Resource Management. Neil's career has primarily been within the Public Sector and he's worked in a number of HR generalist roles as well as specialising in areas such as HR/Payroll systems, reward and Health and Safety.
Neil has responsibility for HR, Learning and Development, Occupational Health and Health and Safety.
Julie Reynolds - Head of Fleet Services
I started my career in the Accounts Dept of Royal Ordnance Glascoed. After 10 years service there and further posts in local government departments, I joined Gwent Police in 1997 and have worked in Fleet Services throughout this time. I am a member of the National Association of Police Fleet Managers, an associate Member of the Institute of Car Fleet Management and have attained the BSC Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health.
I provide professional advice on all aspects of Fleet Services and am responsible for the provision of Fleet Services including the procurement and sale of vehicles, service, maintenance & repair, fuel provision, Vehicle Recovery, accident management, pool and hire vehicles, registration and licensing, ensuring that the fleet complies with Health & Safety and all other legislation and statutory requirements.
